Welcome to Alfahma tours and travel hell's Gate National Park lies south of Lake Naivasha in Kenya, North West of Nairobi. Hell's Gate National Park is named after a narrow break in the cliffs, once a tributary of a prehistoric lake that fed early humans in the Rift Valley. It was established in 1984. A small national park, it is known for its wide variety of wildlife and for its scenery.

Departures

This safari starts from Nairobi and ends in Nairobi.It runs throughout the year with assured departures for two guests and above and it can be a group joining safari. It can be customized to fit your budget and date of departure according to your interest. Accomodation in a standard room. Transport is in either a 4x4 pop up tour van or a land cruiser (depending on the price of the package).

3 Days Mara Tour

This is a five days tour to the great riftvalley viewing the major lakes in the region. You will spend five days and four nights in the riftvalley exploring wildlife and birdlife. Lake Nakuru lake Bogoria and Hells gate national park offers the best destinations for birdlife majorly the flamingoes. Lake Baringo is, after Lake Turkana, the most northern of the Kenyan Rift Valley lakes, with a surface area of about 130 square kilometers. Lake Bogoria National Reserve is in the Great Rift Valley, Kenya, covering Lake Bogoria and the land immediately surrounding the lake. It is administered by the Kenya Wildlife Service.

The Rift Valley lakes are a group of lakes in the East African Rift that runs north-south through the eastern side of the African continent, from Ethiopia in the north to Malawi in the south. These lakes include some of the oldest, largest, and deepest lakes in the world. Many are freshwater ecoregions of great biodiversity, while others are alkaline “soda lakes” supporting highly specialised organisms.

          PACKAGE DETAILS

          DAY 1:Nairobi-Hell's gate national park-Lake Naivasha.

          Welcome to alfahma tours and travel depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley to hells gate national park. Game views en route as you watch various wildlife animals on the way to the gorges. Within Hell’s Gate is the Hells Gate Gorge, lined with red cliffs which contain two volcanic plugs: Fischer’s Tower and Central Tower. Central Tower is a smaller gorge which extends to the south and of which a path descends into hot springs that at some places you can find rocks that will burn you. Also there is a fair amount of sulfur you can feel in the water. After lunch head to Lake Naivasha for boat riding as you watch an island of hippopotamus in the lake.
          Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

          Day 2: Lake Nakuru national park / Menengai crater.

          An early morning pick up then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, across the equator, lays the rift valleys most famous Lake Nakuru. Known all over the world for its flamingos, it’s alkaline and is harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingos, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times there may be almost 2 million flamingos in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lake shore. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive, just 10 km north of the lake we visit the Menengai crater, it is a massive shield volcano with one of the biggest calderas in the world, located in the Great Rift Valley Kenya. Farmland occupies its flanks.

          Dinner and overnight at campsite or lodge.

          DAY 3:Lake Bogoria - Lake Baringo

          Just south of Baringo, is Lake Bogoria, formerly known as Lake Hannington, the lake and the surrounding area is a national reserve. Lying close to the base of the Ngendalel Escarpment, which rise 610m above the lake. Around the Lakeshore are a number of geysers and hot springs, which at dawn can sometimes form a thick mist. There are times when Lake Bogoria is home to thousands of flamingos. It is also home to a variety of mammals; Lunch en route then head to north of Lake Bogoria, to Lake Baringo, a freshwater lake and now a major tourist resort lying deep in the valley. Although surrounded by semi desert, the scenery is rugged and majestic. Baringo is regarded as the bird watching center of Kenya; with over 450 species recorded. Not only is there a proliferation of water birds but also wonderful variety of birds in the acacia bush bordering the lake, many of them difficult to see elsewhere.
          Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

          Day 4: Nairobi

          Soon after breakfast we drive to Nairobi, we drop you off at your accommodation or the airport.
