Masai Mara is well known for its high population of wild animals including the big five; Lion Elephant,Buffallo, cheatah and Leopard. It also hosts the world most spectacular event the wildbeest migration which is an annual event involving close to 2 million wildebeest and zebras moving as one from Serengeti in neighbouring Tanzania to Masai mara in Kenya. Lake Nakuru on other side is a paradise for bird watchers with thousands of flamingos and other water birds flocking the alkaline lake.


This safari starts from Nairobi and ends in Nairobi.It runs throughout the year with assured departures for two guests and above and it can also be group joining safari.It can be customized to fit your budget and date of departure according to your interest. Accomodation in a standard room are based on low season. Transport is in either a 4x4 pop up tour van or a land cruiser (depending on the price of the package)

Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru

Masai mara is a national reserve named after the local habitants of the area The Masai people and the river that provides life to the wild; Mara River is a popular destination to tourists from all corners of the world.Its large population of wild and bird life is also home to worlds most spectacular natural occurrence on earth, the wildebeest migration.Lake Nakuru is referred to as a birds watchers paradise. The Alkaline lake is frequented by thousand of Flamingos and other water birds.

The Kenya seven days safari rewards guests an opportunity to cover Kenya’s top safari destinations of Amboseli National Park, Nakuru and Masai Mara National Reserve in one safari. It starts in Nairobi and ends in Nairobi. Amboseli is famous for its large herds of elephants. It gives guests opportunity to view the peak of the highest mountain in Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro (When the weather is right). Masai Mara is home to almost all kind of animals found in Africa with all the big five (Lion, Buffalo, Elephant, Cheetah Leopard and Rhino )present here. It also hosts the 7th wonder of the world; the wildebeest migration a natural occurrence involving large herds of grazers; wildebeests Zebras and Gazelles moving as one from Serengeti to Masai Mara each year between the months of June and October. Lake Nakuru National Park also referred to as East Africa bird watchers paradise. During the hot season when Lake Nakuru is warm shallow and alkaline thousands of fuchsia pink flamingos, and other water birds come to the lake to feed on algae which thrive in such conditions. Also, other animals are found in the park except for the elephant..

                Day One Arrival at JKIA – Nairobi

                Welcome to Alfahma tours and travel upon landing at JKIA you will be received by a company’s representative or our English speaking driver/guide who will receive you, take you through the Airport formalities before helping you load your luggage into our vehicle before being transferred to your city hotel for dinner and overnight. Along the way you shall be briefed of your trip (Feel free to ask questions about the safari at this point and seek further clarifications into details you did not understand during the booking process. Along the way, you will enjoy city views up to the hotel. You shall have dinner at the hotel ( included in the tour price)

                Day Two Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

                Wake up early in the morning have your breakfast. Our driver guide shall then pick you and transfer you to Amboseli National Park via Msa Road. The approx 250 KM journey shall take around 4 hours depending on weather and traffic of the day. Arrive at Sentrim Camp on time for lunch, and there after starting our game drive. Enjoy epic sceneries that Amboseli has to offer on an afternoon drive before returning to our lodge for dinner and overnight.

                Day Three On safari at Amboseli National Park

                Wake up for breakfast before embarking on a full day game drive at the fantastic Amboseli national park. Amboseli National Park is well known as home to vast herds of elephants. Quite a good number of bird species has been recorded in this park. Enjoy amazing photography sessions at this park. When the weather is right, you can have perfect shots of elephants with the snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. On this date, you will have picnic lunch inside the park and late on proceeding with the game drive before returning to the camp in the evening for an evening of relaxation dinner and overnight.

                Day Four Amboseli-Nairobi Nakuru

                Enjoy breakfast at our lodge we depart to our today’s destination the majestic Lake Nakuru National Park through the city of Nairobi. The approximately 435 KM journey can take about 6 to 7 hours depending on traffic along the highway and the weather of the day. Lunch on this particular day will be provided en route. Upon arrival, start the exploration of the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. The park referred to many as a birds paradise is popular for its huge populations of Flamingos when the weather is favorable. It also hosts animals like lion, buffalo hyenas a variety of grazers and being a rhino sanctuary it’s easy to spot this endangered member of big five here than in many other parks in Kenya. However due to its size elephants are not present. We shall return to the camps in the evening for dinner and overnight.

                Day Five Nakuru – Masai Mara

                After breakfast leave for our next destination. Masai Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara National Reserve is approximately 350 KM from Nakuru a journey that takes us almost five to six hrs again depending on the weather and traffic along the way. We shall have lunch at the lodge before embarking on an evening game drive at Masai Mara National Reserve. Later we shall return to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

                Day Six On Safari at Masai Mara

                The famed Masai Mara Game Reserve is named after the indigenous inhabitants of this land, the Maasai, and the provider of life to the area, the Mara River. Game viewing is almost guaranteed at some point along the Mara River, and your experienced tracker-guide will know all the best spots to go to maximize this chance to see some of the many bird and wildlife species here. Have your camera handy, as some amazing photo opportunities will present themselves from elephants on the river banks to hippos in the shallow water. Sign up for optional activities (not included in tour price); guided nature walk, hot air balloon ride, cultural tours and more. On today’s afternoon game drive, the choice is up to you: search for the Big 5 or expand your horizons to discover something different. The Masai Mara not only has a rich mix of animals – but it also has an incredible array of bird life that includes almost 450 different species.

                Day Seven Masai Mara – Nairobi

                Breakfast at the camp will be followed by a game drive en route to Nairobi. Today’s 320 kilometers (198 miles) drive will have you in Nairobi in time for lunch at the very famous Carnivore Restaurant, a fitting finale to your incredible Kenyan safari. Carnivore is an unforgettable open-air ‘African barbecue’ dining experience full of fun, food, music and culture. A variety of meats is skewered onto traditional Maasai swords, roasted over hot coals and carved at your table. Vegetarian options are also available. After lunch, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to check in for your outbound flight.
